ABOUT SPECTIA

Spectia ApS is a Copenhagen-based software company founded in 2025, building AI-powered digital tools for the technical installation industry — from procurement and material management to ESG reporting and daily operational workflows. Spectia is backed by InstallerGroup and KRING, who are majority owners and proactive partners in our commercial, technology, and product development. InstallerGroup comprises 40+ companies across Denmark and Switzerland with a combined turnover exceeding DKK 4 billion and more than 2,000 employees. KRING is a venture studio and impact fund with 18+ years of experience co-creating and scaling digital ventures. Together, they provide Spectia with unique access to real-world installer workflows, deep industry expertise, and proven venturebuilding infrastructure.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As Head of Product & Late Co-founder, you will own Spectia’s entire product vision and roadmap — shaping an AI-first platform that technical installers rely on daily. This is a rare chance to build a product from the ground up in a sector ripe for digital disruption. You will lead the product direction across two pillars:

1: Platform Evolution:

Continuously evolve the Spectia platform to meet market requirements, adopt emerging technologies, and expand the feature set based on installer needs. Ensure the platform scales across Scandinavian and European markets with a modern, mobile-first user experience.

2: AI-Powered Automation:

Implement AI solutions for procurement automation, invoice control, price comparison and ESG reporting on materials. Enable the platform to autonomously execute high-value tasks. Leverage real-world operational data from technical installers to train and validate AI capabilities.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a builder at heart — energised by early-stage environments where process is being created, not inherited. You think strategically but act pragmatically, connecting business goals with product decisions and communicating the “why” behind priorities. You understand the daily reality of a technical installer and build products that respect their time and working conditions. You are commercially aware, thinking about product-market fit, pricing and go-to-market alongside features. You naturally reach for AI as a tool in your daily work — not because someone told you to, but because you can’t imagine working without it. You make decisions backed by data and user research, and you work effectively with industry partners, translating their domain knowledge into product opportunities.

You might currently be in a role such as:

  • Procurement or project manager at an installation company or wholesaler
  • Product manager in construction tech or field service software
  • Digitalisation lead at a technical installation company or wholesaler

WHAT YOU BRING

Industry Knowledge

Experience from the technical installation industry is essential for this role. You must bring a solid understanding of the industry and its workflows:

  • Deep understanding of the technical installation industry and the daily workflows of craftsmen and field service workers.
  • Experience with procurement systems, purchasing workflows, wholesaler integrations, or supply chain management in the construction or installation sector.
  • Background in or familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks, green building standards, sustainability compliance, or material documentation in construction.
  • Experience with invoice processing, price comparison tools, or financial automation in a B2B context.

Product Experience

  • Solid product management experience, including hands-on ownership of product strategy and delivery at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Understanding of what it takes to build a software product — the connection between business logic, data, and user interface — and the ability to work productively with a technical team without being a developer yourself.
  • Fluency in Danish is required; English proficiency is also required.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A founding executive role at a high-ambition startup backed by InstallerGroup and KRING.
  • Full autonomy to define and build the product vision, with backing from the CEO and board.
  • Direct access to 40+ installation companies and thousands of end-users.
  • Competitive compensation package including equity participation.
  • A modern work environment in Copenhagen, co-located with the KRING venture studio.
  • The chance to work at the intersection of AI and a traditional industry undergoing rapid digital transformation.

APPLICATION PROCESS

If you see yourself in this role but don’t tick every box — we’d still love to hear from you. The right mindset and willingness to learn matters more to us than a perfect match on paper. Interested candidates are invited to submit:

  • CV/resume highlighting relevant product leadership and industry experience.
  • A brief cover letter (max 1 page) outlining your vision for building an AI-first platform for technical installers.

We conduct interviews on a rolling basis and will hire when we find the right person.
